Veterinary Assistant

Amya Catron

Amya earned her associate’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine/Animal Science from WSCS, graduating in May 2025. She began her career in small animal medicine without prior hands-on experience, but through dedication, initiative, and a strong passion for animal care, she has developed the skills necessary to efficiently and compassionately support both patients and clients.

Amya is committed to continuous learning and strives every day to expand her knowledge to provide the highest level of care for her patients and their owners. Her calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and genuine love for animals make her a valued member of the team.

Outside of the clinic, Amya remains deeply involved in large animal care. She spends much of her free time at her farm caring for her eight horses and pursuing her long-term dream of training horses and helping others develop confidence and partnership with their own.
