Dr. Harris received her Associate’s Degree in Animal Science from Walters State community college and her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee. From there she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.

She is originally from Tazewell, TN but now lives in Mohawk, TN with her high school sweetheart. A fun fact is that they are both veterinarians! They live on a beef cattle farm where they raise beef calves, and katahdin sheep. She has many pets including goats, chickens, rabbits and horses. Her small animal fur babies consist of 2-Great Pyrenees, 3-Corgis, 1-Labrador and 2-cats.

Dr. Harris has been with WPVP since graduating vet school and although cows may be her favorite animal she loves all Gods creatures great and small. Dr. Harris feels lucky to be able to live her calling and have a job she loves.
